E commerce Issue

  • I installed the E commerce plugin on my site. After deactivating it I can still see the “PRODUCTS PAGE , TRANSACTION, YOUR ACCOUNT” on all my pages. What file do I need to edit to remove this? Its quite irritating.

  • Did you delete those pages from the ‘manage pages’ screen (in wp 2.7 it is called ‘edit pages’) in the admin? If you want to keep them, you can also just unpublish the pages or exclude the links to them from the pages menu.

    I have wp ecommerce on my site at totalcleanair.com but dont have a checkout. how do other stores get a shopping cart with a checkout button on their site? If you click buy now on my site you have to search the site to figure out how to checkout.

    lrmzx636…You need to go to “Pages–>Edit” and remove those pages.

    mike, the pages are there, you just don’t have links to them most likely…the easiest way would be to go to “Ecommerce–>Settings–>Presentation” and choose “Fancy Notifications”..that will pop up a box linking to checkout after you add an item.
