  • Hello @kreativhuhn ,

    Thanks for reaching to us.

    1) enhanced e-commerce tracking for WooCommerce and

While Site Kit does insert all the various product snippets on product and other WooCommerce pages it doesn’t provide WooCommerce specific dashboards or additional integration at present. Site Kit can however recognize existing or manually inserted Analytics snippets, which can include additional WooCommerce related tags. Using a manually inserted snippet does still allow you to use the Site Kit dashboards, providing you connect the Analytics module while using your own snippet.

There is also an open feature request on the plugins GitHub in relation to further eCommerce tracking within Site Kit. In addition to this GA4 supports Retail/Ecommerce tracking. Feel free to subscribe to this issue for further updates or add any input you feel appropriate.

    2) event tracking (e.g. for pdf downloads, mailto and tel links)?

For event tracking like PDF downloads, many events are automatically tracked in GA4. This includes button clicks, which are automatically tracked which could include a PDF download or any other attachment.

    Best Regards,
