Dynamic widgets doesn't work on the Social Sharing Toolkit's Follow Widget

It might be this widget uses an old deprecated way of registering it to WordPress. Unfortunately DW can not deal with that. Don’t you get a warning / error when you save the DW options for this widget?

I was going to ask for a dump. Great you came up with that yourself.

I found the problem. First the really good news: The widget is registered correctly. DW sees it and can handle it. So, why does it fail? Well, this is a bit technical, but the unique name used for the widget is quite long (mr-social-sharing-toolkit-follow-widget-2). That’s 42 characters. DW has a limit to 40 characters. That’s why it’s not working. The good news: I can fix that and will widen the limit a bit up. I’ll release a new development version with the higher limit asap. Will let you know when I have that ready.

Here is development version 1.5.3.1 which has this issue fixed.

Yeah, it’s safe to use this on a live site. Not much have changed since 1.5.3.
