dynamic tabs – different order for front page and posts
-
Hi Hueman support,
Great theme for mobile!
My website is idsayso.com. You will see that I have 3x Hueman Dynamic tab widgets in the left sidebar. They are currently set to show the most popular posts, with option for user to select icon to see latest posts or comments (which is a cool feature, but honestly most users are unlikely to immediately understand the icons or click on them). With this setup on the front page, the user is presented with the latest posts in the main content area (i.e. the slider and 10x latest posts underneath, and most popular posts in the left sidebar. This is really nice on mobile devices as when user scrolls down they first see a mixture of all latest posts, then when they get to the dynamic tabs widgets they then see the most popular post, so no duplication.
However, when user clicks on a post (or navigates to some other page like tags or categories) they sidebar is still showing the most popular post, but it would be preferable if the dynamic tab widget was showing the most recent posts.
Consider this scenario…sometimes I run a CPC campaign and I direct the user to a category that matches their search criteria. The user immediately gets presented with the content they wanted to see, but it would be nice if the sidebar dynamic tabs widgets were showing latest posts. Otherwise my website looks outdated with respect to content.
So my query is:
With the Hueman Dynamic tabs widget (or by any other means within Hueman theme) is it somehow possible to set a different Tab Order for front page and for posts? Or even to be able to set Tab Order differently for front page and per category? If not, then this would be a very cool feature as it better ensures no duplication of page content vs dynamic tabs. It also would ensure the display of more enticing content. If you visit and navigate my site then you might appreciate what I mean.
Thank you
Regards,
Sean
