Dynamic Results Page URLs

  • Hi,

    Great plugin! works just as described. I am wondering if there is any way to customize the results page to be in the form of a dynamic URL that is based on the search query.

    Right now there is one results page “/advanced-search/” for example. I would love it if the results page URL could be based on the query such as “/restaurants/healthy/affordable/casual”.

    Any thoughts on how this might be done? The only way I can think to do it is by building individual category templates that query the exact results you are looking for. Not ideal of course…

    Hi CPDesign thanks for the positive feedback and sorry about the slow response time on this one. Interesting question though, it’s not something I’ve really given much thought to. Off the top of my head I can’t think of a clever way of implementing something like this – I’ll take a look into it and see whether I can get you back any reasonable solutions!
