Dynamic pricing / discounts

  • Hi guys,
    Thanks for a great POS and the latest update with barcode. Great fun ??
    Though one of the first things I noticed is that the POS system doesn’t take the discount that is set for the online shop.

    with that I mean:
    I have set up Dynamic pricing from woocommerce (latest version)on the shop and it works like: 2 items gets 12,5% discount.
    But in the POS system I have to type that in.

    Beside that, when the discount is typed in POS, it is repeated twice.
    The discount get mentioned as “basket discount” and “order discount”.

    For that reason, the twice mentioning is going to be confusing for the customer and the rude ones are going to say: “well, it says twice discount. why am I just getting one discount. I want more”.
    That’s how it is in Copenhagen btw.

    Any plans or suggestion on how to fix the issue?

    Hi Minoltian,

    The Dynamic Pricing is not supported at the moment, the functionality is outside the normal WooCommerce checkout flow so it will require some custom work to get it to work. This may happen in the future but I can’t put a date on it yet.

    Regarding the double discount: I believe you are referring to the Item Price and the Order Discount? If so, perhaps read this post on the difference between the two: https://woopos.com.au/docs/discounts/
