• I don’t even know how to ask this question but here goes.

I currently have a dot.net website with a daily reflection page. That page’s content is dynamic and fed into the page by date from a database. Each separate reflection is viewable on the main page but also shareable by using a https://www.mywebsite.com/reflection?dateOfReflection=1/7/2017.

Additionally, I can view the daily reflection on the page but I can also browse back and forth to view other reflections from previous and future dates within the same page.

Is this effect reproducible using WordPress/PHP?

  • Sure, just use the Calendar and Permalinks set to date. The Codex was specifically designed to help folks using old methods to stop doing that:

Thanks, @swansonphotos. I’m looking for a plugin that can do this. I’m not enough of a programmer to know how to proceed. It would be like a quotes plugin but with an actual URL associated with each quote within the containing page, so you could send the URL to someone for a specific date and they’d see that quote, not the current quote.
