Dynamic Featured Image missing the drop down menu

  • The default featured image has a drop down menu that gives you the options:

    Images
    Uploaded to this post

    With the ‘Uploaded to this post’ option. You can upload multiple images to the featured image.

    I would like this same option to the plugin. So I can have a separate array of images to work with. Yet leaves the other streams to their respective featured image.

    Any light on this?

    Alright, this is what a standard featured image does.

    You click on featured image and you see all the images uploaded to the media library:

    You can click on “Uploaded to Post”:

    And then you can select multiple files from your computer to upload:

    Here, I uploaded 3:

    Now on my site. I can click on my featured image, then it leads to another page that shows the other files I uploaded.

    It is missing the “uploaded to this post”

    Well, I believe I’m asking for too much here. The plug in works just fine. I can get the second featured image to show, but I wanted to be able to add more photos to the second featured image. So if I were to click on it, it leads to a separate page with a separate gallery of images.

    I’m not a coding expert. I know little bits and pieces of PHP and Java Script. I think this would take a lot of coding to implement.

    I don’t have the money to pay you to develop this. I just uploaded this to further explain my idea.
