• Loved the plugin and I am considering the possibility of purchasing a premiun version _ Appticles, but I have two doubts before proceeding.
The first is that I have a few posts that have dynamic data obtained from the database using jquery and json depending on the geolocation of the visitor, however _ these pages are not rendered correctly because some controls are striped from the content, eg select control. If using Sencha controls as replacements for these controls, will sencha controls? _ also remain on content?
If they are removed, it is viable to use iframes to solve this problem.
The second doubt is related to push notifications, I could not find documentation on the Appticles site, how it would be possible to have this feature on my website, I noticed that it is possible to generate a native mobile application, but not found any information on how the procedure would be?

    Hi Juliano,

For both your questions – these features are not supported by the Premium plans, we’re talking more about custom services.

Regarding posts, we use the content that is saved in the database. If there’s some additional processing done by various jquery libraries, that data will not be visible to a different theme, like the one used by WPMP, or to our API. Most likely, the same processing that you have on your current theme would have to be replicated in the Sencha Touch application, so we would have a custom implementation. I can’t give you an exact answer on how this can be supported, I will first need to take a look at your website and see what you mean exactly.

For push notifications, this doesn’t work out of the box either, but it is possible if we implement with a 3rd party API (ex. https://pusher.com/tutorials/html5_realtime_push_notifications). We don’t automatically send applications to apps stores, reasons being that some of the features would have to be replaced with their native apps equivalent. For example, monetizing native apps with Google AdSense is not possible because it’s against the Google’s terms and conditions.

If you want to discuss more details, you can also write to me at [email protected].
