Dynamic content header Sub-menus (not dropdowns) IN WordPress

  • GIVEN 8 PAGES (for example):

    1.0 HOME.ONLY
    2.1 EVENTS.CURRENT
    2.2 EVENTS.PLANNED
    2.3 EVENTS.REOCCURING
    3.0 PLANS.ONLY
    4.0 CALENDAR.ONLY
    5.1 ABOUT.MISSION
    5.2 ABOUT.CONTACTS

    primary menu: HOME EVENTS PLANS CALENDAR ABOUT

    secondary menu for EVENTS: CURRENT PLANNED REOCCURING

    secondary menu for ABOUT: MISSION CONTACTS

    when a “.ONLY” page is displayed, no secondary menu displayed

    when a NON-“.ONLY” page is displayed its secondary menu is displayed on top of the content ONLY.

    This is independent of mouseover/dropdown menus in the primary menu.

    Been looking for ways and themes to do this. Don’t see it.

    It’s easy to do in plain HTML.
