    Hi,

I am really happy that you have created a plugin for Dollibar.
Just a few curious questions, if you don’t mind…
    (1) DyaPress Premium is not required to use this plugin?

    (2) You do not need the native installation of Dolibarr at all?
If true it really suprised me and that is really cool ??

    (3) If DyaPress WordPress plugin is open source and completely free..
What does the Premium Version offer that free does not…is there a comparison table I can see.

    (4) Is DyaPress free version production ready? or is it still Beta?

    (5) How does the support process work for the free version Versus the Premium version?

    (6) Is the free version identical in every way to the Dollibar Open source version?

    (7) Is their a Blog or somewhere I can read about the road map, issues if any, supporters who are using DyaPress etc

    (8) Is it compatiable with Custom Post Types? (ACF for example / Custom Fields)?

    (9) Is it compatible with page designers i.e Elementor?

    (10) Which API (WordPress or Dolliar or both), Extensions etc?

    kindest regards

    Hi,

I am quite sorry I didn’t see your post earlier.

    1) No the premium version is not required to use this one, which is not limited : it is the open source port of Dolibarr(tm) for WordPress.

    2) As being the open source port of Dolibarr, this plugin is independant of it. The main advantage are easier installation and upgrade. Note that on upgrade (from Dolibarr for example), the plugin will first ask for confirmation before starting upgrade of database, so it is not usable just after plugin code update. This is done to keep warning from Dolibarr itself, and allow user to make a backup, even in case of accidental upgrade of the plugin.

    3) The premium version will be plugins also open sourced and available on www.remarpro.com as well. It is not the classic approach of a premium plugin which extends a free plugin, all the plugins will be free. But the communciation between them (ie DyaPress/Dolibarr and the premium plugins) is not free. It could be free for some uses case.
Premium plugins will offer front-end features integrated with WordPress. They will not need DyaPress on the same WordPress installation as well and they could use Dolibarr directly as well. I don’t want to replace Dolibarr which is a great product, I just want to allow easier installation and integration with WordPress.
Premium plugins communicate with DyaPress (or Dolibarr) via DyaPress Premium services which are using REST API of DyaPress (or Dolibarr) to work. Note DyaPress is only a backoffice plugin, there is no front-end features yet and DyaPress Premium plugins are created to offer theses front-end features.

    4) DyaPress is tested directly as being used as the production Dolibarr like software of Aytechnet company, we were using Dolibarr before, and now we are using DyaPress Free (the same version as www.remarpro.com) with REST API activated, and many more modules activated as well.

    5) You may want professional support from Aytechnet directly, this will be a paid support, please ask us ? On the open source software itself, if you have problem, you can send bug report to us so that we can fix it. I don’t want to keep a buggy software available without fixing it, if I know there is a problem.

    6) Almost as I try to do my best on it. But some approach are different : for exemple the architecture is different : I want only one DyaPress (or Dolibarr) installation for a company which may be protected, but maybe many different shopping websites (using WordPress !) which need to communicate with the DyaPress or Dolibarr installation. See DyaPress Free version as Dolibarr as a plugin for WordPress, but only for backoffice. The “front-end” features of Dolibarr may not work directly.

    7) Currently it is not ready and no communication have been done except of pubishing the DyaPress Free version (I will update all this naming soon for better understanding), I hope to publish the first Premium plugins in december (of this year), so it should not be so long now as I will update quickly after the release the DyaPress synchronized with Dolibarr 10, the documentation on how to use it as well. At this moment, you will see more easily how it works and what it is offering.

    8) What do you want to do with ACF and DyaPress (since it is a backoffice plugin) ?

    9) DyaPress is a backoffice only plugin.

    10) WordPress has its own API, Dolibarr has its own API (DyaPress Premium uses REST API of Dolibarr or DyaPress)

I hope I have given you some insight of how it works ?

DyaPress Premium plugins are currently used on dyapress.com website, you will see more informations on publication of the first premium plugins and how they work.

    Kindest regards

    Hi Soulgha,

I reply again just to tell you there is now the e-commerce plugin working with DyaPress so you can test it : DyaPress e-Commerce.

It should work as well with Dolibarr but i have not yet added the registration of Dolibarr in my account page of DyaPress.com. I will do it tomorow probably.

    Kind regards, Fran?ois.
