Dyad 2 – How can I set up a popup?

  • Hello there dear Team,
    I have Dyad 2 in place on my beer blog and love it very much.
    Only I can#t find a way how to set up a popup which works.
    I have tried 2 plugins, non die work.
    After setting up a popup it did not show up on the home page of the blog.
    On other websites the plugin WP Popups Lite by timersys is working properly.
    I want to use it here as well as it offers all I need from a popup.

    Are you trying to set up an email newsletter popup? If so, have you tried MailChimp?

    There is a plugin, embed, and popup option. Hopefully, within those three options one will work well for you.

    Hello there,

    Sorry, no. I’m not trying to set up an email newsletter popup.

    I want to inform about new posts, events, things to know using Text and images as I can do this on other websites (like on https://foto-design-hermann.de/).

    Therefore I use WP Popups Lite by timersys there and on othewr websites, too, and it works properly.

    On Dyad 2 theme which I have in use on https://hopfenschmecker.de/ I tried WP Popups Lite and one other popup plugin I had in use (and working) before on some sites, none did work, the popups set up were not displayed at all.

    Therefore I either need a solution from the theme side or a tipp which plugin will work. And I do not mean MailChimp, sorry. Thank ypou very much in advance for any further information.

    Hi Winfried,

    There’s nothing in the theme that would prevent a pop-up added by a plugin from displaying. A much more likely explanation is a conflict between that plugin and another plugin on your site.

    Have you tried contacting support for that plugin directly to ask if they might have any ideas what could be preventing their plugin from working on your site?
