  • Turns out the the plugin is not necessary anymore (as of Woocommerce 2.2)

    All you need do is use the internal translation, which for some reason doesn’t automatically show after upgrade (it should).

    To get this done:

    1. check that your config.php sets dutch as default language, using the line
    define ('WPLANG', 'nl_NL');

    2. In WordPress, go to Woocommerce > System status > Tools and click “Force Translation Upgrade”

    3. Done. That is, it worked for me.

    You can find this at: https://docs.woothemes.com/document/woocommerce-localization/

    thx
    I tried: dutch is set as default language and then I did the ‘Woocommerce > System status > Tools >Force Translation Upgrade” but then it gives an error and says: Failed to install/update the translation: An authentication error occurred while updating the translation. Please try again or configure your Upgrade Constants. But whats written there I don’t understand; much too complicated :>)

    I also tried now to put manually the woocommerce-admin-nl_NL mo and po and the woocommerce-nl_NL mo and po files on the server but am not sure in which directory that should be: in wp-content\languages\plugins nothing happens..

    Anyone tips?

    We just launched version 1.1.5 of the WooCommerce (nl) plugin and contains all the translations for WooCommerce v2.2.4:
