duration to get API key approval

  • I am using the Etsy Shop plugin to put my Etsy listings with my WordPress site.
    I have 2 questions:
    1. How long is it taking now (mid September 2022), to get the API approval from Etsy? (I have read that in March through May of this year it was taking weeks, even months.
    2. When I applied for the API key, under shop/store name, I put in a store name that is different then what I named the store in Etsy. This is because I am in the process of rebranding. The new name of my store does include my last name. Will this meet Etsy’s requirements? Or are they looking for the store name on the application to match the Etsy store name?

    I also requested for an API three weeks ago, but I haven’t received it yet.
    When registering the API, I was shown a message saying that if the request is rejected, you will not be answered.
    Etsy is very strict about approving the API v3.
    I don’t know what should be written in the “Describe your application ” field so that the request is not rejected.

    You should complete all fields for the API Key Request, describe that the key will be used for your website.
