Duration cannot be set using Podlove Web Player block

  • When using the Gutenberg block Podlove Web Player the duration seems to be a time, like 12:04:20 AM. Thus, when I enter 08:46 to specify that this audio is 8min and 46sec long, the validation fails and the values I have entered into the field disappear silently.

    Could you have a look at that?

    Can you share some details around the browser you are using. In fact it is a time picker giving the limited amount of default input for the block inspector. If that doesn’t works for a different locale I will use a simple text field with time parsing.

    I’m using Firefox 75 in English on OSX 10.14.6

    With the shortcode, I can specify duration=”0:15:25″. I think this is great.
    I would expect that in this field for the Gutenberg block I could also set a duration, not a wall clock time.

    Ok, wasn’t aware of a locale specific problem. So I will implement it as a simple input field with duration parsing.
