Duplicator installer fail

    I am trying to duplicate wordpress site on my local server.
    I’ve spent all day trying every possible solution on the web trying to figure this out.
    None of the solutions are working.
    I am so lost. Why am I keep getting Fail notices?????

    If you have already gone through all the checklist items here:

    -> Browse to: https://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq
    -> Find section: “Database Issues”

    Then you may want to connect with your hosting provider to ask them exactly what parameters you should be using. The underlying code is using a basic PHP function for connection.

    Maybe you should try putting the ip host instead of localhost . I had the same error, and so solve.

    That is correct the vast majority for most of the issues above are DB connection issues, best solution is to get the exact creds from the host.
