Duplicator for WP 3.1.3 please?

Running a version of WP core which is a over 5 years old is a security issue. I would create manual backup and clone a version of the site to local dev and then update WP core and active plugins and see what might cause an issue.

Luke, that’s what I am trying to achieve with Duplicator.

We all know it’s a security issue, but upgrading is not an option till we can see the site will still work. Everything, from themes to plugins, will stop working.

My question was: can Duplicator team supply a legacy version so I can install on 3.1.3.

Legacy versions of the plugin can be downloaded here. There were a few versions pre 0.4.6 but I can’t seem to find them anywhere… Maybe 0.4.6 is old enough to work…

According to the readme file, it would still not be enough:
Requires at least: 3.4
Tested up to: 3.5.1
Stable tag: 0.4.6

Haha crazy how old this WP install is…

Just to report Duplicator delivered once again.
I used 0.4.6 and it worked.

I always found refreshing the fact that plugin authors actually respond and try to be helpful here at Duplicator.

Just kidding. Just curious to hear. Did you actually succeed in using the built in WordPress update feature (was that even implemented back then?!) from 3.1.3 to 4.6.1? There must have been a trillion plugins that has been abandoned meanwhile? (not to mention the iframes and the animated gifs ?? )
