Duplicator doesn't seem to work with WP 3.8

I have created on a 3.8 and re-installed without issues… Have you tried on another site, it may be that particular site…

I have a local development server and a live site. Duplicator worked perfectly up through wp ver 3.7.1. After updating to wp ver 3.8 it is not working correctly. Duplicator creates the zip file and installer as usual. When I try to have it install on the live server, everything appears to work until I attempt to access the site. It dies with “INTERNAL SERVER ERROR”. Both servers are RHEL 6 based. I have been working on this for two days.

That is odd… If you want to submit a support ticket I can look at your server closer in more detail, I have tested many combinations without issues and haven’t been able to generate any errors, windows, linux (redhat, centos). Be sure to include any php/apache error logs in your ticket along with the duplicators log…

Thanks for responding – I was on holiday and neglected work for a bit! I’ve tried using another site locally and remotely duplicating, even tried the new dev version of duplicator (which looks awesome btw) – but none of it has worked..I’m wondering if there’s a plugin conflict?

I see others have been able to get it to work. What am I doing wrong?

Also getting an error:

The version of MySQL on this server is [5.1.72]. The Duplicator requires MySQL version 4.1+ or better. If the MySQL server version is valid and this requirement fails then the mysqli extension is not installed. If you are on a hosted server please contact your host and request that mysqli extension and MySQL Server 4.1+ be installed. For more info visit: https://php.net/manual/en/mysqli.installation.php

That message means your server is not configured with mysqli ‘Note the i’ support. You will need to contact your host and have them install it…

I have used this great plugin for a few of my sires with no issue. However I have just tried to use it on a new site and am getting the error below. This site is hosted on the same hosting as the other sites that work. So not sure whats going on. Does anyone have any suggestions.

You can double check to make sure its setup by going to
Duplicator > Settings > Diagnostics > PHP information:
Then in the look for
Configure Command:

You will want to see this in the line and there will be other mysqli sections note the ‘i’:
