Hi, I’m getting this error once I try to download the installer file:

An error has occurred. In order to load the full installer please resolve the issue below.

    ZipArchive: hasZipArchive ? ‘Enabled’ : ‘Disabled’; ?>
ShellExec Unzip: hasShellExecUnzip ? ‘Enabled’ : ‘Disabled’; ?>
    Extraction Path: installerExtractPath; ?>
    Installer Path: installerContentsPath; ?>
    Archive Name: [HASH]_archive.zip or [HASH]_archive.daf
This is based on the format used to build the archive
Archive Size: Expected Size: readableByteSize($boot->archiveExpectedSize); ?> Actual Size: readableByteSize($boot->archiveActualSize); ?>
    Boot Log dup-installer-bootlog__[HASH].txt

I have never get this error before …

    Thank you

    Mark

  • Hey Mark,

Thanks for the feedback! If you can give the developer version a try it may have the updates for your issue. The very latest version (1.3.3) can be found by following these instructions:

    Download Developer Version
    – Uninstall your current version and install this one.

Let me know if this solves your issue~

    Thanks

    Hi Cory,

I’m getting the same issue and installed the developer version without it rectifying the problem.

I can download the installer file directly from the server, rename it, and it works fine.

It’s not a server issue because I have a similar test site on the same server with no problems. The only difference between the sites is some plugins (couldn’t find a conflict) and the size of the site, but I get the same issue when I run “Archive Only the Database” so size doesn’t seem to be the issue either. Bit random.

    Cheers,

    Tony

    Hey @markzoi, @ned1977,

If you want to submit a support ticket for this issue I can have a closer look at your setup, at this point I don’t have enough information to isolate the issue. Please provide a link to this thread when submitting the ticket.

    Thanks~

Hi, and thank you for your quick replay! WE LOVE DUPLICATOR!!

I will contact first the provider to figure out if this depend from some server limitation on they’re server or php version …

Let you know soon if this issue was related to them, best regards

    Hey Mark,

You might have them try this solution. It’s part of the web servers configuration setup.

Hi, we have resolved out the issue by switching the php version to 7.1 and increase memory limit on php.

    Best regards

    Mark

    Thanks for the update!

I’ve increased max_execution _time from 30 seconds to unlimited and memory_limit from 256M to 2048M for both PHP 7.1 and 7.2 and still get the installer.php issue. This is with the developer verion of the plugin.

The last bit of the log file says the following:

    INTEGRITY CHECKS:
    ********************************************************************************
    SQL File: 4.46MB
    Installer File: 32.97KB
    Archive File: 91.68MB

    ********************************************************************************
    RECORD ID:[5]
    TOTAL PROCESS RUNTIME: 61.07 sec.
    PEAK PHP MEMORY USED: 34.25MB
    DONE PROCESSING => testpackage_v2 12 January 2019 3:19 am

So memory doesn’t seem to be an issue.

    Will raise a ticket.

Thanks @ned1977! This thread is getting rather long…

    Hello, dear Cory

I’m having the same issue with a Duplicator backup with a website that I’m managing.

    This is the log:

    ZipArchive: hasZipArchive ? ‘Enabled’ : ‘Disabled’; ?>
ShellExec Unzip: hasShellExecUnzip ? ‘Enabled’ : ‘Disabled’; ?>
    Extraction Path: installerExtractPath; ?>
    Installer Path: installerContentsPath; ?>
    Archive Name: [HASH]_archive.zip or [HASH]_archive.daf
This is based on the format used to build the archive
Archive Size: Expected Size: readableByteSize($boot->archiveExpectedSize); ?> Actual Size: readableByteSize($boot->archiveActualSize); ?>
    Boot Log dup-installer-bootlog__[HASH].txt

Is there any way to fix this?

    Thank you in advance.
