I’ve just moved a wordpress site from localhost to live server and attempted a backup using the duplicator plugin. It’s showing the following error/fail –

‘Zip Archive Enabled’ – Fail

It’s also showing a red ‘Pass’ for ‘required paths’ with the following comment for three filepaths – If Duplicator does not have enough permissions then you will need to manually create the paths above.

I’m using GoDaddy cPanel hosting for the server. I’ve searched the forum for other similar answers but none quite seem to show me a route to resolve this. Is this something that needs resolving with the plugin or is it on the cPanel side?

Now the site is live is Duplicator the most appropriate way to back up the information?

@corylamleorg Thanks Cory, I don’t seem to have a php.ini file in my cPanel public folder, is this typical for GoDaddy hosting?

@corylamleorg Ah okay, thanks. Looks like I have to create one myself. All seems very complex to do a simple back up. Thanks for all your help on this:)

@corylamleorg Figured it out. Basically you upload the archive_zip extension in the PHP pearl packages section then tick the ‘zip’ option under the PHP version section. Thanks for all your help!
