Duplication of headers when sticky header enabled

With the new Sticky Header feature introduced in 1.7.x, if I have a transparent header set then a scrolling header is still visible behind the transparent sticky header. Can you resolve this so the sticky header is not a header in front of another header, allowing true transparent headers that are also sticky? For example if sticky header is enabled, then the header “behind” it really needs to be hidden so it doesn’t show through when the user starts scrolling.
