Duplication issues.

Hello.
After today’s update, I am experiencing the issue that a duplicated product now has the publish date of the original product, even though it is published as an entirely different product on a different date. This brings quite some issues for me.
Duplicating products saves a lot of time when working on the hundreds of products i’m uploading since a lot of settings are the same. However I can’t have the publish date be the same everywhere.
Also the snippet info from the yoast SEO add does no longer duplicate, which also makes it take longer for no reason.
Is there anything that can be done to change the publish date, or get it to actually correctly show when you publish it again?
