Duplicating SKU numbers for a bundle featuring one product at a bulk price
-
Hi, I’m trying to set up a store for a client who has bulk pricing and then another level of pricing after that. It’s rather complicated.
here is an example:
1-5 cases = 4.02/unit
5-60 cases = 3.83/unithere’s the kicker, 60 cases = 1 pallet
1 pallet = 3.66/unit (60 cases)So I figure I’d use woocommerce’s dynamic pricing extension to handle the pricing while it’s dealing in case units and use this product bundle to create a bundle (1 pallet of x-product, 60 total) to handle the unit change.
my problem has to do with SKU, since it is the same product, I would like to match the SKU number for the pallets. Is there anyway I to bypass and allow bundles to share SKU numbers from single case unit counterparts?
Also, if I’m totally approaching this the wrong way, please let me know if you have any better suggestions. I would love to hear them!
Thanks,
Rene
