• I’m attempting to duplicate one of my WordPress sites and republish it at a new location(new URL and server). I’ve completed all of the steps to accomplish this listed on the WordPress blog. The site now comes up. I can log in. I can make changes at the php level(through appearance, edit..) but I cannot make any changes when using the WordPress write page. Every time I try it just sends me to the posts page. I don’t get an error or anything. I’ve double and triple checked the settings on the wp-config.php file as well as the data-base name on htaccess file. I’ve changed every one of the old urls to the new url on the data-base I’m duplicating. Anything else I can do here to get this site functioning properly? Much Thanks.

If you mean WordPress Dashboard, Settings, Permalinks. Yes they’re all four set to the new domain name. Is their another place to reset them as well? I tried switching from the Custom to the Default setting, but it’s still giving me the same non-responsive write pages.

The Permalinks are set exactly as the website I was copying, with the custom structure box checked and /%postname%/ in the space. And, trying to get the terminology correct it’s the edit page function that’s not allowing me to make changes.

I’ve got the site to work as long as I deactivate the Custom Field Template Plugin. Is there a way to fix the issue so I can activate the Custom Field Template?
