Isn’t there a ‘blank’ business responsive theme, no comments, professional, where I can add a slider, text, a neat nav bar, social icons custom pages, and background?

I feel it’s harder than it should be.

All WP themes have comments – but you can turn those off and just use static pages if you don’t want “blog” features.

There are many “business” themes – if they don’t fit your needs exactly, you can generally modify them – depending on your knowledge.
