Duplicated SKU

    Hello,

    I try to input one code to a product, but it’s says an error message: Invalid or duplicate SKU.

    When I looked into the all products page for the code in the search area “search products”, no product show’s up which means there is no product with this code.

    I don’t understand why it says the error message then the code is : SA55218

    There is many other product we have with this kind of code. So I don’t know why this one should be invalid.

    Any clue on how to fix that ?

    Is it possible that sku is there but in the trash?

    Thanks for your reply, On the product page I only have: All | Published | Draft | Cornerstone content | Sorting

    No trash, so I can’t check it out.

    Where do you find trashed products?

    Hi @mmmediterranean,

    It seems you do not have trashed products as it will display in the products page options.

    Can you clear WooCommerce transients from WP dashboard > WooCommerce > Status > Tools and see if that helps?

    • System Status: You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.
    • Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce > System Status > Logs (if available).

    Are you using any translation plugins?

    On your dashboard, go to “Woocommerce > Status > Tools” and click on Delete orphaned variations, to see if that helps.

    Otherwise:
    Using the code snippet plugin, you can add the filter below to disable SKU checks:
    `add_filter( ‘wc_product_has_unique_sku’, ‘__return_false’ );’

    Thanks for your help, I am not using any translation plugin.

    Deleted orphaned variations helped, I was able to add the SKU without any issue.
