Duplicated sitemap

    Hello there, it seems to me that for our website the sitemap generated by your plugin is accessible from two different URLs:
    domain/sitemap.xml
    domain/sitemap-index.xml
    I’ve checked that it’s exactly the same map, same last modified data, etc.
    I know I could add a redirect but it’s a workaround.. is there way to get rid of one URL?

    Hi, in fact there is an infinite amount of duplicates for the index. You can replace “index” with anything you want and it will show you either the index or a dedicated sitemap (when you replace it with root or posttype-page for example).

    You do not need to worry about duplicate content. The sitemaps themselves are “noindex”.
