• Hello!

The schema addon is working perfectly, as far as I can tell. I am convinced that this error is something on my end I am overlooking or misinterpreting.

I have a single Schema type set up, a ‘General’ type ‘Article’ checked off as a ‘post’ for the post type. If I delete this Schema type, live data testing shows only breadcrumb structure, and removes the article identifiers. Enabling this schema type brings back the Article schema, filled out fully, 0 errors and 0 warnings… however, twice.

The ld+json script is being inserted underneath the
“<!- This site is optimized with the Schema plugin v1.6.1 – https://schema.press ->” comment 2x on the page source resulting in this:
    Duplicated article schema.

So my question is – anyone have any idea what’s going wrong on my end that would be causing the schema plugin automatically inject the ld+json code twice?

    Hi,

Would you please try to switch to a default WordPress theme and try it out? (clear your caching plugin after that if you have any).

Also, provide a link for your site, this may be helpful.

Sure, our blog is located at: https://www.lifeionizers.com/blog

Swapping to a default wordpress theme has the potential to cause a lot of woes for our dev, although I could certainly ask – would it be possible with that page link and the source code you could sort through what might be duplicating the code?
