Duplicated post published instead of scheduled

  • When you copy a post which is scheduled to be published in the future, the copy is published directly! This is typically NOT what you want in such a situation – the copy should keep the publishing state of the original.

    Go to the Dashboard > Tools > Post Duplicator page and adjust your Post Date setting to Duplicate Timestamp.

    Thank you for your answer. It’s good to know that I can change the behaviour (which I was not aware of). However, to prevent accidents it would be helpful if “Duplicate Timestamp” was the default behaviour.
