Duplicated podcast content

    Hi there, I’ve been using the Blubrry PowerPress plug-in since I created my podcast in April 2018, although my latest podcast episode (Episode 19) has been duplicated content on my podcast providers such as iTunes, Spotify and Stitcher.

    A potential reason for this is that after uploading my podcast on my site on Tuesday, I posted an article on Wednesday featuring content from my podcast, and I also copied the podcast media url. I’ve since tried to rectify the issue by going into the article and under settings it said click ‘remove’ and it says podcast episode will be removed upon save. I have tried to do this, although upon first check the duplicated content still remains on the various podcast providers.

    Has anybody had similar experience of this and do you know how to rectify it? Any help would be appreciated!

    It may take up to 24 hours for changes made to a podcast feed to be picked up by syndication points like Apple Podcasts, etc. If you continue to notice duplicate episodes in your Apple Podcasts listing after that time, please reply with a link to the Apple listing so we can take a closer look at what’s going on.
