Duplicated Page has the same page ID as the original

  • When I duplicate a custom post type, the page ID is still being returned as the original ID.
    I can see the new page and page ID in the backend, but a var dump on the front end shows the incorrect page ID and page URL.

    The plugin is up to date, and it works correctly when pages are being duplicated. It just seems to be an issue with custom post types (set up using register_custom_post_types.php)

    This is causing issues with custom fields pulling through input from the wrong page.

    What post ID does the admin show for the post you are linking to? From what I’m seeing in the body class of the post, the ID is “347”.

    I am not able to replicate this issue. I wonder if there is some other plugin that is not meshing well with the duplication.
