Duplicated orders

Does this happen with every order, or just with credit card orders for example?
The next update will improve the checkout validation and can potentially prevent plugin conflicts leading to similar behavior.

If you can reproduce the behavior consistently, does the issue also persist when you disable all other plugins except for WooCommerce and PayPal Payments?

You might also check the logs in WooCommerce > Status > Logs for any fatal error logs? This thread had a merchant with a similar situation that was caused by out of memory errors during high traffic times.

This issue should have been resolved with the 1.6.2 release, if it has not please let us know.
