duplicate wordpress installations in my public_html dir
-
When I updated my plugins about a week ago users started having problems logging in to the site – they were being redirected to the wrong page. Ordinarily I can fix problems like this in the dashboard. But I went to investigate my files at the server and found that there were 3 different sets of wordpress files. Really, I only installed one. the directory structure looks like this:
public_html
wordpress (and files)
wordpress (and files) <– this directory has the most recent files
wordpress (and files)I have no idea how the other files got into my directory tree. I think I can experiment with a local version of that 3 wordpress tree to delete all but the recent files, but I am worried about whether one of my plugins could have done this. Any helpful ideas of where to look?
THanksThe page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
