Duplicate URL in XML sitemap: Yoast SEO

    Hello,
    We have a website [ redundant link removed ] where we are using the Free version Yoast SEO plugin.
    Recently we have observed that there are few URLs with duplicates in the same sitemap.xml [ redundant link removed ]

    Can you please check and let us know how can we resolve it?

    Hi @havalsanket

    We understand you have an issue where duplicate URLs are listed in the page sitemap.

    Would it be possible for you to provide example URLs where the same URL is being listed twice in the page sitemap and maybe we can try and take a further look at this?

    Hello,
    The issue has been resolved. Yoast was showing duplicate URLs for multiple language-specific pages present on the website.

    We have WPML installed on the website due to which Yoast was considering the URLs that have multi-language pages present in the website as separate URLs.

    To avoid this issue, install WPML SEO plugin which is well compatible with Yoast SEO plugin.
