Duplicate transaction id tracking

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s system status report? You can find it under WooCommerce > Status in the dashboard. Click “Get system report” and then the “Copy for support” button. Once you’ve done that, paste it into your reply.

It’s possible you might have two different plugins including the tracking code on the thank you page, which could cause Google to track it twice. The best way to find out if this is the cause is to conflict test.

• Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
• Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce and our Google Analytics Integration
• Check out with a test order and see if it’s tracked twice

If you’re not seeing the same problem after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

It was only happening for a single order and stopped now.. I think the user bookmarked the thankyou page and kept checking it or left it open.

Normally orders are tracked once. So it’s not a conflict with other plugins.

I googled and apparently Analytics does NOT ignore duplicates

Our plugin only tracks each order once. When it’s tracked the order the first time, it sets a flag on the order so that it won’t be tracked again. The code is here:

It happened again today, just had a sale and it was registered 3 times.

I have since first post added a firewall rule at cloudflare to prevent direct access to the order-received page. I thought that would help but today i saw the tripple entry at analytics.

It’s rare but annoying as you can imagine
