A customer just notified me that when they purchase a ticket, they are getting two receipt emails, and two ticket emails. Also, the tickets show they purchased 2 tickets instead of one. Thankfully, they are only being charged for one ticket. When I check attendees, I see that for every one ticket, two are generated. Please help!

    Hi @rgontech,

    Are you using Stripe webhook?

If yes, I should confirm it’s a bug in our plugin. We already created an internal bug ticket for this, and I added your case. Thanks for all the details. I will definitely pass it along to our devs.

I am unable to provide an exact date or time estimate for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates.

Again, thank you for your patience. Hang in there.

    Best,

    Atousa

Yes, I’m using Stripe. This is a major problem, as customers are getting double the tickets they paid for. Is there an update on this?

    Hi @rgontech,

We have no ETA for when this bug will be fixed, but you’ll be notified when there are any updates

There is a workaround for the issue, and that is to deactivate the Stripe webhooks if you have the Stripe webhooks activated.?

    Hi @rgontech

    Thanks for patiently waiting.

To deactivate Stripe Webhook, please log in to your Stripe Dashboard and proceed to Developers > Webhook. From there, you can select the Hosted endpoints that you want to deactivate and simply click on the three dots followed by the “Disable” link. If you prefer, you can also choose to delete them. It’s entirely up to you.

Let me know if you need any assistance along the way.

    Hello @rgontech,

We’re back with some good news! This issue with when using webhook, purchasers receive double tickets, was fixed in the latest release of our plugins.

Please update all our plugins to their latest versions to apply that fix to your site.

As always, we recommend testing updates on a staging site first, but it should all be smooth sailing.

    I hope that helps.
