    Hi,
I got a massive fright this morning. After I logged in to my site I saw there were two updates, Google Analytics Dashboard, OK no problem there click update and all is fine. Then the second is a theme update, I am running Kingdom (a WooCommerce Theme) so I click the update and HEY my theme is broken!! It turns out there is another theme called Kingdom from bestwebsoft.com. WordPress did not pick up that they were two different themes.
BEWARE if you run this theme the upgrade WILL break your site.
I do not know if WP can find a way to see the difference. Are there any other themes out there with the same name? Are theme names not copyright?

Yep, unfortunately that does happen – if two themes happen to use the same name. www.remarpro.com doesn’t have any way to control or know what outside themes are named – so those names aren’t “taken” when new themes are submitted to the theme repo on this site. So yes, you will see the updates for this one:

Thanks for the response WPyogi. Yes it’s good to know that if you have a bought/outside theme then check the the details of the update BEFORE you update. The Kingdom “update” just deleted/wrote over my theme and broke it. When my IT guy figured out what happened then, lucky, I could just reinstall and all returned to normal. ??

Glad to hear you were able to resolve it fairly easily (moments of panic aside!) :)!
