Duplicate site identity

    On the upper left hand corner of the website, there is an additional instance of the site identity with site title and tag line.
    No matter what theme I install, this still shows up. Does anyone have any idea how to get rid of this? I’ve looked to see if at one time I made a copy of the index and referred to that, but I cannot find one. I’ve tried so many ways to get rid of this and I am completely puzzled. Thanks for any insight you can offer.

    It’s being added by the Add-Meta-Tags WordPress plugin. Maybe you incorrectly entered some data or edited the code? Or maybe there is a bug in the plugin?

    *I just checked, and the plugin has not been updated in over a year ??

    You are a genius. Bless you. I don’t use that plugin and have just deactivated it. The duplicate site identity is now gone. Thank you so much. You’ve made my week!
