Duplicate Products

Thanks for writing in with your question! It would be great to get a bit more information on this to be able to assist further.

Could you let me know how the products are duplicated? Is this for all products, or only a type of product in particular (for instance, is it just variable products?). When browsing the products in Catalog Manager, do you notice any specific difference about the duplicate, for example, does it have 0 price or does it have a different content_id format?

Any additional information or screenshots you can provide would be super helpful for me to look into this for you! Could you let me know when you have a moment to do that?

Thanks for sharing that! That’s interesting to see the duplicate product content_id, as it doesn’t look like one that our plugin would have generated. The product_default_groupxxxxxxx looks like it might have been generated by a different feed or plugin.

Would it be possible to share a system status report of your store so that we can take a look for any other plugins that might be having an effect? Alternatively, do you know of any other plugins that might be generating a product feed for your catalog?

Hi Breno,

Sorry for not being clear! The report I was looking for can be found navigating to WooCommerce > Status in your WooCommerce admin. There should be a button called “Get Status Report” which allows you to copy the information and send it over for me to take a closer look.

Thanks for the screenshots though! I don’t see another feed source specified, though certainly the content_id on that product doesn’t appear to have come from our plugin.

Could you let me know when you have a moment to pass on the WooCommerce system status report?

Thanks so much for sharing that! It looks like you may have another plugin that could be adding products to your catalog, namely: Product Feed PRO for WooCommerce.

Would it be possible to check your configuration to see if this is currently set to add to Facebook? If so, this may be the reason for the duplicate products. I would suggest using one plugin or the other to avoid this. If you do decide to stick with Product Feed PRO, you can disable product sync in our plugin settings!

Could you let me know how you get on and if this might explain the duplication you’re seeing?
