Duplicate posts in homepage

  • Hi, CoverNews is really great theme, but I’m having a problem about posts in homepage.
    As the listing below “featured post” shows all posts sorted by DESC date, there are duplicate contents among slideshow, editor’s pick, featured posts and the “general” listing. Even if I choose a specific category for each position, I see the same post on the general listing because they are sorted by date.

    Can you please help me to fix it?

    Hello there,
    First off, thanks for reaching out, as the theme facilitates to select category for the posts for the defined section, would you please use the feature from Customize>Frontpage Options>Main Banner options?

    Hi, thanks for reply.
    I’ve already done that but the problem is still there.

    I give you an example:
    1: slider –> Category A (I see only posts published in Cat A)
    2: editor’s pick –> Category B (I see only posts published in Cat B)
    3: featured posts –> Category C (I see only posts published in Cat C)

    Below these three section I have the list of ALL post, listing by date ASC. In this list I see again some posts already published in Cat A or B or C.

    I’d like to hide these post if already published in the three sections above.
    Is there a way to do that?

    Hello there,
    Sorry for the late response, as the theme does not offer such functionality, we recommend you to customize the theme using child theme approach.
