I just noticed that the last two payments that where processed on my site have the same payment ID on the Payment History page.

I’m using 2.5.13, but the changelog for 2.5.15 says nothing about payment ids, so not sure if using the latest version would have prevented this from happening

Also not sure this is caused by EDD in the first place, maybe more a possible issue with WP itself that it allows duplicate ids to exist?

Let me know if you want more information about my installation, or the exact time that both order where made.

  • Hi Tijmen,

Do you use sequential order numbers?

Could you go to Downloads > Tools > System Info and post the contents here?

I do use sequential order numbers. It’s the first time since I started using EDD in January that this happened.

    Sorry for the slow reply.

That problem is likely coming from the W3 Total Cache plugin. Do you have database caching enabled? If so, can you please disable it and then let me know if the problem goes away for future payments?
