Under SETTINGS->READING, what do you have set as your home page?

Thank you for your quick reply.
It shows my homepage is <About>

So there you go. If you keep that, remove “about” from the menu.

    Thank you Steven,
In the Reading Settings, <Home> is not one of the choices for Homepage so if I delete my About page, what will it default to?

    Hi Steven,
I’m also having a redirect issue with my 1st page which is “Home”. I’ve asked my web host to look into that for a fix. Could this be related?
On my website, both “Home” and “About” are underlined at the same time.
    Thnks again.

I did not say to delete your “about” page. I said to remove it from the menu, because it’s already there as the front page. They’re both underlined now because they point to the same page. If you want another page to be your home page, then either create one or point to an existing one from settings->reading.
