Duplicate Page Titles

  • Hi, I noticed that the plugin uses the portfolio page for the page title of all projects within the portfolio. This is a negative for SEO and was wondering if there was anyway to work around this.

    Hi Chaten,

    Thanks for using the Portfolio manager.
    However, I am afraid changing of URLs is not possible in the plugin.

    The behance links of the projects are unique, hence we used that as the links for WordPress as well.

    Anyway, How do you believe this setting would result in negative SEO? as the links from behance are SEO friendly.

    Sorry, maybe I didn’t explain myself properly.

    It’s not the urls that are the issue, it’s the page title for each project in the portfolio.

    eg. The portfolio is placed on a page titled “Portfolio”

    The projects open in new posts/pages but the page titles for those posts/pages are not editable so the projects take on the same page title as the parent page “portfolio”.

    My portfolio has 40+ projects in and each one is sharing the same page title being “portfolio”. This is an SEO issue as it creates duplicate page titles for different pages/projects.
