    the last 5 orders on my site have duplicated and billed the customer twice with two order numbers. I’m using woocommerce. Paypal transactions are not affected. I’ve checked that all my plugins are up to date. I’ve not added any new plug-ins recently. I would really appreciate any help. (PS I’ve built the site but it’s really not my area of expertise)

    just to add one customer said they had an error message backend fetch failed but I’m not sure if all customers have had the same error message.

    1- Can you please confirm if these orders were made by the same customer or different customers?
    2- Could you share the details of these 5 orders?
    This would include things like order numbers, dates, and any patterns you might have noticed related to these orders.
    Please hide any sensitive customer-related details.

    Additionally, share your site’s System Status Report.
    Here’s how to obtain that:
    – Go to WooCommerce > Status.
    – Click on ‘Get system report’ and then ‘Copy for support’.

    While investigating the site’s System Status Report (SSR), it appears that numerous plugins are activated with functionality to PayPal, currently.

    order no 34563&34562 on 3mar24, 34560&34559 2mar24, 34556&34555 1mar24, 34550&34549 19feb24, 34547&34546 18feb24

    To clarify, with what payment gateway were the orders mentioned above placed?

    Furthermore, was the WooCommerce Product Fees: by Caleb Burks – 1.3.0 plugin utilized in all of these orders, or otherwise?

    With all the duplicated orders, the order form says they paid using debit/credit card. Woocommerce Version 8.6.1 and woopayments Version 7.2.0

    That’s as far as I can see- I’m no expert so you may need to direct me to gain further information.

    You mention paypal- that is all working fine- no duplicate orders

    Since the PayPal orders are correct, this seems to be specific to Woopayments, not WooCommerce core.

    Can you please open a thread on Woopayments forum so we can better assist you?

    I’ll also ask some more questions to help us investigate, can you please share the answer on the new thread?

    • Besides being paid with WooPayments, are there any other similarities on those orders? Same products, same credit card (visa/master/etc) or something like that?
    • Since the issue started have you had any WooPayment orders that did not have this issue?

    We haven’t connected in a bit, so I’ll go ahead and mark this issue as resolved. Of course, our door is always open should you need to revisit this in the future.
