Duplicate notifications/ Wrong author notified

    Facing 2 issues with this plugin..

    1.
    Post author gets email notification when replying to a comment on their own post, As if someone else left a comment. How to bypass this?

    2.
    “Someone replied to your comment” email notification is going to the wrong author. Its going to the post author and not comment author even when using {comment_author_user_email} hook

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    1. Unfortunately, there is no way to exclude notifications for someone’s own replies in the basic version of the plugin.

    2. This looks like a bug. Thank you for reporting this issue, we’ll investigate.

    We checked this potential bug with the wrong recipient and this is probably misconfiguration.

    So if you have a comment and comment reply (nested comment) and you want to create a “Someone replied to your comment” notification, you should be using the {parent_comment_author_user_email} merge tag, not {comment_author_user_email}.
