    I am getting duplicated order numbers. Seemingly random, I can’t connect it to a specific action or setting. I occasionally receive order confirmation emails that are out of sequence using a previous order number. When this happens, I will have two confirmation emails, but only one of the numbers remains in my Woocommerce order list. Attached are screenshots of Order #8707. You can see the original order in email and woocommerce list on August 24. Then on August 30 a new confirmation email between orders 8814 and 8815, but no corresponding order in woocommerce. On both orders, credit cards were charged, so the second order is processing and completing but not showing in Woo. The only way I find out is if I notice a confirmation email order number out of sequence, or when a customer calls asking about a missing order.

    Thanks for sharing the screenshots. I’ll need more help to replicate this bug at our end. Would please answer my questions?

    1. Can you share with us screenshots of the settings you have done in our plugin?
    2. Did you receive the other duplicated order numbers on the last date of the month?
    3. Have you set the reset counter?
    4. Did you ever noticed any similarity between other duplicated order numbers and this order #8087?
    5. What’s the action you performed between the time of orders 8814 & 8815 he received.

    • Did you deactivate our plugin at this time?
    • Did you upgrade any plugins or theme on your site?
    • Did you renumberate the orders?
    • Did you enable or disable any setting?
    • Your help would be appreciated.

    The problem first started around the time I updated the plugin, so I thought it might be related. But, it turns out i have a customer who was placing a lot of orders and had two people logged in to their account at the same time on different computers. As they were placing orders at the same time on the same account, one of the orders would get overwritten and somehow an out of sequence order number would get assigned. I’m not positive, but this seems to be the root of the problem, I’ll keep observing to be sure.
