Duplicate Meta fields appearing in user profile edit page.

    The import worked fine, with one bug. I had previously created the meta values for a user as…Telephone Number, Office etc… using dropdowns & textareas etc… Worked nicely. However on running the import the users now see two sets of user meta edit boxes in the profile edit page. The correct ones, all of which have select dropdowns which are populated, and secondary set of only edit boxes which appear above the correct ones.

    When I select usermeta data for a user from the DB, for, for example their office .. it only returns one value from the usermeta table. Which is good, however in their profile edit page they see an unwanted text box, populated with the correct value, but not wanted as below is the correct select drop down, equally populated. Where / how do I remove these unwanted text box’s?

    Thanks for your message.

    Unfortunately, the plugin creates those fields automatically and you cannot hide it.

    So my recommendation is:
    1) Deactivate our plugin and activate it only when you need an import.
    2) Do by yourself all the metaboxes (look at database which keys are being used).

    Cheers who would have thought the old classic of switch it off and on again would work so well ??

    Thanks for your words, in future versions, we would improve the plugin and this case would be also considered.
