Duplicate Meta Descriptions on Split Posts
-
Hello,
Google says my blog has many duplicate meta descriptions.
Those are found in long posts that have been split into two or more pages using WP’s !–nextpage– code, e.g.,
https://www.altfg.com/blog/awards/oscar-2009-academy-invites-new-members/
https://www.altfg.com/blog/awards/oscar-2009-academy-invites-new-members/2/
The meta description for both pages is the same (the initial 20 words found on the first page of the post).
I’ve just begun using the All in One SEO plugin to see if that issue would be resolved, but no luck.
Is there a way to change that — so the 20 first words of *page 2* or *page 3* and so forth will show up as the description for that particular page?
I’ve looked for solutions in this forum, but none matched what I need.
Any assistance would be much appreciated.
