duplicate menus

In the Kentwood theme, there are 3 menus in the header: a top centered one and one on either side of the site logo. On the demo, there were three different menus showing up. However, on the site I am working on, the menu is identical in all three places. On the laptop version, they all show up the same. On the mobile phone version, the two on either side of the logo show up as lines. When clicked on them a whole cascading menu for the site shows up. That definitely isnt what I want. I’d like to either have only one menu in the header above the logo or have different items showing up on either side of the logo.

I see that someone has asked this exact question in the past and did not receive an answer.
