When using the Events Manager front end to add events, the location auto-completes as it should. However, every time I click the auto-complete to use it it creates another location listed exactly the same. How can I stop it from doing this, as it will cause confusion? When I click the location on an event page, it does show all events at the location, as it should – it is linking them to the same place correctly. When I check in the back-end it also has created the duplicates.

  • Hiya,

Can you provide a link to your add event page please?

    Thanks

    Hello,

The add event page is like this (the site isn’t live yet so I’ve put screenshots): https://www.canterburydiocese.org/screenshot_addevent.jpg

You will notice if you start typing ‘Canterbury Cathedral’ there are two locations by that name with the same address.

Thank you for any help you can give.

It’s hard to see what’s going on without being able to take a look at a live link. That said, it would be a good idea to rule out a Javascript conflict by testing with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme.
